my creative space
This week I have been busy entertaining my visiting sister and helping her get organised for her first ever overseas trip. As such, not a lot of crafting has been going on. But, I did manage to do some cutting out for this quilt-a-long over at crazy mom quilts. Tonight, my rotary cutter beckons!
There may have also been an incident with some fabric, some scissors and a mis-read pattern late last week. But I would prefer not to talk about that. Let's just say that the versatile wrap skirt won't be featuring on here anytime soon.

My cousin made the versatile wrap last year and had to make changes, so you're not alone! (http://rosalindgracedesigns.blogspot.com/2009/09/pattern-review-versatile-wrap-skirt.html ). I'm going to have a crack at the Amy Butler Barcelona skirt this summer, as I've heard good things about that one (http://rosalindgracedesigns.blogspot.com/2009/11/amy-butler-barcelona-skirt-pattern.html). Hope you work it out! Thanks for your comment too!
